ABOUT US

Locum Ministry is an Interdenominational Ministry serving the community of faith. The word locum means one professional standing in for another professional.

JWC Locum Ministry, is not a church, it is a Christian service rendered to all, be it in private or public. It is services beyond the walls of a church, reaching everyone with the Word of God. In the privacy of your home, or at our venue, you and your family can be served with Word and Communion; we can baptize or bless your child; baptize an adult at the place of your choice. We can even visit your loved ones in a retirement village/old age home, anoint them and serve them with Word and Communion.

In the faith community we can stand in for the resident pastor/minister/clergy when he is on leave or just need a break to spend some time with his family without stressing about his congregations spiritual well being. Too often religious leaders suffer from burn out, as leading a congregation is not easy, but a huge responsibility, that comes with the calling. We at Locum Ministry are qualified theologians that will only preach Word and not Doctrine, to ensure that there is continuity at your Sunday Worship Services.

At death many people do not belong to a church, but the family feels that they want their loved ones to be buried by a Religious Leader, we at Locum Ministry do not look at your church affiliation to bury you, but support the family left behind with a Word of encouragement and showing God’s compassion in time of bereavement. At a minimal fee will do the funeral service and burial in the most dignified manner, showing respect to the legacy left behind.

Pre-marital counselling is very important in preparation for understanding the pressures that comes with married life. At Locum Ministry we will prepare you and your partner for your journey ahead. The fee includes two consultations before marriage.

Church administration including church finances can sometimes be a nightmare, but more important is accountability and good stewardship. We at Locum Ministry can assist in making this an easy path in presenting financial reports to your community of faith.

Snr Locum Minister: Sandra Cuyler

Sandra Cuyler is a theologian who holds the following qualifications: Bachelor in Theology (BTh) from Auckland Park Theological Seminary; Honnours Bachelor in Theology (BTHHONS) from UNISA; Diploma in Accountancy (Dip Acc) from Intec College, and a lifetime of experience in church administration, church finances and building the Kingdom of God.
